Tramp has found a new home

Yesterday morning we recieved a phone call from a couple who had heard about Tramp, so they came to see him, they fell in love at first sight and so Tramp has found a permanent new home.

Torrevieja skyscrapers

I have just read that the Torrevieja town hall have given the go ahead for a "free building plan" where up to 20 towerblocks with a maximum 28 storeys are scheduled to be built in the Los Locos, Los Naufragos, El Acequion and La Mata seafront areas. The plan has to go to regional government for final approval.
Being as most building work round here appears to have ground to a halt, i cannot see any projects like this starting in the near future!

Angel leaves, Tramp arrives

Well, Angel very quickly has found a new home she has gone to live in the Villa Martin area. So very soon afterwards we have another foster dog this one is a little boy half the size of Angel and about 8 months old, the name given to him is "Tramp"
he loves to play with his ball, and after some encouragement walks well on a lead. although i am pretty sure he would like to spend most of his time curled up on somebodys knee. He was found wandering in the Jacarilla area. Anyone looking for a little companion you know where he is.

Formentera roadworks

The sides of the road over the bridge to Benijofar from Formentera are being excavated, it looks like new pipes are being laid, so it is lethal trying to walk as no pathway has been left for pedestrians, hopefully after they have done the work a proper path will be created so that there will be easier walking between Formentera, the new centro commercial ( when its finished) and Benijofar.
Its also just been announced a budget of €622,000 is going to be sent on improving the CV906 road which runs through the centre of Formentera del Segura, this will include street lighting and pavements.

Angel update

Well its a week tommorrow since Angel arrived so thought you might like a progress report. Angel has settled in very well, she's a lovely calm little dog. Angel likes a run in the campo but is very well behaved and never runs off too far or refuses to come when called. Its clear that her previous family spent time and trouble training her, she likes a routine and is always ready for her dinner around 6, she does not bother you at the table like some dogs will and is very good around our cat Suzi, though Suzi is a bit of a grumpy boots at times. This week she has met up with mad Jack from around the corner (see earlier post about him) She has also met Rocky the rescue dog on several occasions, think Rocky is in love! Angel is going to meet the local Vet Javier on monday as she has to be spayed, plus get a blood test.
