Monday was the day of the Sardine fiesta in Formentera del Segura, Many people from the area gathered to eat tons of freshly cooked sardines roasted on the barbeques in the new recreation area,they were enjoyed with fresh bread, beer and wine, there was a constant queue untill the middle of the afternoon.
We now have a new bodega, called the Bodega Vallone it has opened where the bike and quad bike hire used to be, on the supermarket road into Rojales with bottled wine and several types of wine available from the cask, there is also a small bar selling draught beer and serving tapas of jamon, cheese and other tasty treats. A litre of red wine from the cask into your own bottle is €1.10, and is excellent.
